Learning Guitar Easily – Having a Helping Hand
Hi, Kate here,
If you’re looking for the best way to learn how to play guitar, then you’ve found the right website. It’s been a roller coaster guitar ride for me in learning to play the guitar, maybe not well, but at least I’m having more fun strumming to songs. Singing lessons may be required next
Like you, I loved watching others play their guitar so effortlessly, without even thinking about where they were placing their fingers and being able to just whip out their guitar and have everyone singing along to their songs. It was just fantastic and I wanted to be able to do that too. I remember watching my mom play her guitar and singing along to Neil Diamond songs. It was just so relaxing and spell bounding being captivated into this world of guitar music.
Unfortunately, once I got to the point of really wanting to learn how to play my own guitar, that’s where all the fun stopped. Finding a guitar tutor for me was the hardest, as I really didn’t have the time to attend any of their lessons, especially as I was working full time and I also had a young son to look after. So, instead I tried teaching myself with books I picked up at the library, but it was difficult trying to learn the tabs and the guitar chords and my fingers were often red and sore from probably strumming incorrectly. I really thought this would be more fun and I certainly didn’t recall my mom having red raw fingers when she played.
So, I decide that I was going to get some serious help and started looking around the Internet and other options. There were a few ‘free’ guitar lessons that sorta helped me a bit, but they just didn’t give me all the answers I was looking for and many went way to fast for me. By the time I stopped the video, I was in a right mess trying to re-balance the guitar, get my fingers back into position and then somehow get the video playing again. It was like a comedy show, except I wasn’t laughing!
Finally, and with a sigh of relief on my aching fingers part, I happened to be recommended to this great online tutorial site and boy did it make a difference. I was so excited to finally find something that I could follow at my own speed. The instructions were easy and simple to follow, and I didn’t drop my guitar quite as often. The video’s even showed me where I was going wrong in placing my fingers and what made it even more worthwhile for me, was the forum. Here I could log in and ask questions and get great tips from other students, just like me! Click here if you want to read more on the guitar Learning program.
The only negative thing I would have to say about using a program like this, is that you do have to make the time to practice and you also need to keep yourself motivated and focused, which can sometime be hard to do. It can be so easy to give up, especially when you don’t understand something, but having the forum, made it easier for me to just log in and ask a question, or I just referred back to the lesson book.
Another cool feature that I haven’t mentioned is that you can now download an app onto your iPhone and learn to play that way. I haven’t as yet got an iPhone, but I when I do, it may come in handy when I visit my friends or go away, as I can still bring my guitar and still practice. Now, that’s what I call having portable lessons! So, if you want to find out if this is something that can help your guitar playing, then click here to visit the official guitar lesson site that I used. I hope it helps you as much as it did me. Happy guitar playing

I've always been interested in learning to play the guitar and it may have started when I saw how much enjoyment my mom got when she played.
